About Dr. Robinette
Laura Robinette, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in pediatrics and internal medicine. With more than 13 years of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults alike, Dr. Robinette is proud to serve the Alexandria, Virginia, community at Alexandria Immediate Care.
Dr. Robinette graduated from The College of William and Mary with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2002 before enrolling in the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark. Upon graduation, she began a competitive internal medicine and pediatrics residency at UMDNJ. Dr. Robinette was so well-regarded during her residency that she was awarded the responsibilities of internal medicine chief resident at UMDNJ University Hospital in Newark in 2010.
As a caring and well-trained physician, Dr. Robinette has a number of clinical interests, including pediatrics, adolescent health, and general primary care. She is also actively involved in several professional organizations, such as the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
